Amarillo at 1.020

When moving the Amarillo Red to secondary fermentation, I was somewhat displeased to see that the gravity was only at 1.020. The beer tastes a little sweet, and needs some more fermentation to occur so it doesn’t suck. Here’s hoping we reach 1.012

  1. well at least you have already brewed the beer for the wedding…I need to do that this weekend.

  2. Ok, the Amarillo ended at 1.014, which is pretty good. There was a bit of scum on top, but the color and taste are great. Its now carbonating and will be ready to tap on Sunday.
