Oak-aged Bourbon Porter kegged

After 3 months sitting on bourbon soaked and toasted oak chips, I’ve kegged the remaining robust porter. It smells great and the sample I had while racking the beer suggests that it’s going to be a doozy. Stay tuned.

  1. Tastes Delicious!
Medium bourbon and oak notes, with a velvety dark chocolate and slight vanilla-like finish. And its not boozy at all.
    Nice work!
    How strong is it?

  2. Thanks. As far as gravity, you tell me. I broke my hydrometer again. 🙂

Prior to aging, it was supposed to be around 7%, but I’m not sure how much evaporation might have occurred over time. Could be less now.
